Located
in the heart of Tacloban City, the Regional capital of Eastern
Visayas, the RESORT is 20 minutes from the airport. Serviced
by all domestic airlines, it is approximately 1 hour from
Manila and 20 minutes from Cebu. Former First Lady, Imelda
R. Marcos, built the facility in 1979. Closed for 3 years,
it was re-d in 1994 under new management following
full renovation and refurbishing. Today, the RESORT has
grown into a major tourism and convention complex. The RESORT
is nestled on a 6-hectared parkland where the world's narrowest
strait, the San Juanico Strait, and San Pedro bay converge.
